Motrex has emerged as one of the largest cleanly quantified truck fleets in Kenya. The Mombasa-based operation controls more than 500 heavy-commercial trucks and has standardised the fleet around Mercedes-Benz. That single-brand strategy gives the company a distinct maintenance and parts profile compared with Kenya’s more diversified fleets, while its coastal base places the trucks directly into Northern Corridor and East African line-haul work.
