Jean Joachim Diaga Basse is helping expand specialist asset finance within Senegal's development banking system by positioning leasing as a strategic instrument for productive investment. As Director of Specialized Businesses and a member of the Executive Management Committee of the Banque Nationale pour le Développement Économique (BNDE), he is leading the bank's specialist financing activities at a time when Senegal is modernising its leasing framework and promoting wider adoption of alternative financing for businesses. His leadership is strengthening access to commercial vehicles, industrial equipment and other productive assets while reinforcing leasing as an important complement to conventional development finance.
