Brian Njao — Snapshot and Highlights

Recognition Citation

Under the leadership of Brian Njao, M-KOPA Mobility extended pay-as-you-go asset finance into Kenya's commercial electric-motorcycle market at significant scale. By November 2025, the business had financed more than 5,000 electric motorcycles, while riders reported average daily savings of KES 730 and 66 percent said their earnings had increased. A partnership with Bolt had onboarded more than 1,700 financed riders, and the platform expanded from Nairobi into Mombasa with further regional growth planned for 2026. These achievements underpin his inclusion in the AssetFin100 Africa 2026.
